coulou’s cafe is the creative alias of Aaron Alcouloumre, a multi-instrumentalist producer and performer originally from Orange County, now tied to creative scenes in Brooklyn, New York. Under his solo moniker COULOU, he’s built a musical persona that weaves together soulful, melodic songwriting with experimental jazz and indie-pop flavors. Growing up between different musical environments (including jazz, soul, and contemporary pop), it feels as though Aaron’s artistic instincts were shaped by genres that blur the line between introspection and groove.
